This policy explains how WasteTrack ("we", "us") handles personal data on this marketing website, wastetrack.eu. The WasteTrack application at app.wastetrack.eu is governed by its own in-app privacy terms.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect on this site

This landing page does not run advertising trackers and does not collect a signup list. We use:

• Essential cookies only, a single local preference that remembers you dismissed the cookie notice. No tracking, no profiling.
• Privacy-friendly analytics, we use Plausible Analytics (EU-hosted) to count aggregate page views. It uses no cookies, stores no personal data and cannot identify individual visitors; IP addresses are used transiently and never stored.
• Server logs, our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) records standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and reliability.

3. When you click "Get Started"

Clicking a signup or login button sends you to the WasteTrack application at app.wastetrack.eu. Any account data you enter there is handled under that application's privacy terms, not collected by this website.

4. Legal basis

We process the limited data above on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Limited technical data is processed by our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure, EU region) and our analytics provider (Plausible Insights OÜ, EU) as processors on our behalf.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). To exercise your rights, email info@wastetrack.eu.
